The South African Association for Retired People has a chapter in Hermanus and is one of the fastest growing social clubs in the Overberg region. The society holds monthly meetings & outings and welcomes people from all walks of life. Anyone above the age of 50 can join SAARP at an annual cost of just R 50. This will give you access to several benefits and discounts. Chair lady Ingrid Green, who is passionate about the club says her mission is to make a difference in the live’s of every senior person living in Hermanus. New residents, couples and single people are all welcome.

Please note that Ingrid Green has moved from Hermanus and is no longer the Chairlady. However, the SAARP Hermanus Social Club is as dynamic as ever with a membership of over 300. Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Sandbaai Hall starting at 10a.m. New members are always most welcome.
