South African artist Jono Dry was born in Pretoria and raised in Hermanus, where he has worked and exhibited for most of his life. His pencil drawings are just spectacular. Jono is entirely self taught and his unique photo realistic works are usually created on a large scale, using graphite on paper or board. He currently lives in Cape Town and sells some pieces in Hermanus.
