BLINKIES are ‘happy shoes’. They make people smile. When you put them on in the morning, you’re bound to be happy.
If you have a smile in your heart, you’ll want to have a pair of BLINKIES.
The buttons are all hand sewn onto the shoes. Each one is original. Nowhere else in the world, to the best of our knowledge, are such shoes produced.
We mainly use Tomy Takkies, a well-regarded brand in South Africa. Every pair is different. We use shoes with many different base colours fuchsia, white, denim blue, turquoise, purple, stone, grey, black etc. The buttons are mainly bright and colourful though some pairs are more understated. Hi-top shoes are popular, though they are relatively more.
The shoes range in size from Infants 3 to Adult 8 (UK sizes).
To keep the project going as long as possible, we price the shoes as reasonably as we can, with as low a mark-up as we can afford.
