The Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate enjoys a rare waterfront position on the Botriver lagoon with endless views of the Palmiet Mountains. The serenity of the estate is captivating.The landholding has 70 hectares of vineyards under cultivation as well as olive trees and lavender fields. Cool Atlantic breezes feed the estate from the lagoon making this a true maritime estate and prime cool wine growing region.
Besides buying land and owning a piece of a wine estate there are a number of things visitors can when visiting the estate. Benguela Cove and Lagoon Wine Estate is set to become a major South African tourist destination. A new state of the art 450 ton cellar has just been completed and the winery, tasting room, restaurant, barrel room and 18 hole pirate hole adventure golf course are nearing completion. The Cove Restaurant is a dining gem in the Overberg where guests can enjoy an a la carte or chefs tasting menu with complimentary wine.
Visitors to the estate can currently enjoy vineyard tours, tasting & pairing and Benguela is currently the only place in SA where you can experience wine tasting on the lagoon.
